Activity Notes
This hike covers about six miles and 1800 feet of elevation gain. After a short downhill start, the trail climbs steeply (approx 1000 ft over a mile) on rocky switchbacks. Careful footing is needed on the way down. If conditions permit, we will venture out onto Quiver Point and Arrow Point. Both are narrow with steep drop-offs on both sides. Applicants should be comfortable with scrambling and exposure.
We'll carpool from the MMC departing at 7:30 am or you can meet us at the High Valley Trailhead at 8:15.
If there is snow/ice on the trail or rain in the forecast, we'll choose an alternative hike.
