Our route:

This trail will be about 11 miles roundtrip, with 2125 ft. of elevation gain. With luck, we may see some mountain goats out on the Plains of Abraham. http://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/washington/ape-canyon-trail?u=i&sh=jauxwm

Meeting location:

Fred Meyer on 117th Avenue in Vancouver. Park in the garden center area for form carpools.

Meeting/departure time is 7AM.

Alternatively, you can meet us at the rest stop in Cougar at 8AM.

A Northwest Forest Pass or like is required to park at the Ape Canyon Trailhead. There is no pay station at the trailhead.

Roundtrip distance from the meeting point in Vancouver is 130 miles. Please plan contribution of $13 to driver.
