Elk/Kings Loop (with car shuttle)

Activity Notes

This is a challenging hike with very steep ups and downs, some short sections of scrambling, and a rope-assisted down climb. Participants should be in strong physical condition with a recent history of similar activities. Feel free to email me with any questions you have about the hike. Depending on the needs of the hikers, we will carpool from the MMC at 7:30 am and/or from the Target at 185th in Hillsboro at 8:00. Otherwise, you can meet us at the Kings Mountain trailhead at 8:45 am. We will set up a car shuttle from there to the Elk Mountain trailhead (a 5-minute drive) where we will begin the hike.
