Hello! We will meet at the Leif Erickson Gate at 8:30am for a briefing and introductions. Beginning the Mindfulness hike on the Wild Cherry trail, approximately 8-10 miles, 1000/1200 ft of total elevation. The intention will be a non conversational hike to practice presence, noticing with our senses or simply quiet time while keeping an exercise pace of 2.5/3mph, think, in tandem, C level pace on a A level hike. Hopefully returning to the gate by 12noon, no later than 1pm. There will be a weather update as the hike approaches. Please wear/pack layers and bring water/snacks. There are honeypots at the Wild Cherry/Leif Erikson junction. Parking is residential street. It is recommended to secure your valuables.
