Activity Notes

2 for 1! We'll stop by Elowah Falls first. We'll also try hiking up to Upper McCord Creek Falls if conditions allow. Then we'll take the next exit for Wahclella Falls, passing Munra Falls on the way. If there's interest, Bonneville Dam is next to the Tanner Creek Trailhead.

I'll be looking for at least 2 drivers. No passes/fees are required for either parking lot (if we park at Toothrock Trailhead). Suggested gas donation will be $6/passenger.

Expect rain.

5.5 miles, 1000' gain

***One of my motivations for leading hikes is to provide opportunities to improve mental and physical health. There's a lot of evidence that spending time outside in nature and socially engaging outside of work is good for the body and mind. Minorities tend to experience more stress, especially in today's political climate. Therefore, I invite all races, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, economic classes, religions, languages, and all other minorities to join me on my hikes!

***This hike will take place on historically Chinook lands. If you would like to help this tribe be federally recognized, they have an active petition!
