Discover this 9.3-mile loop trail near Underwood, Washington. Elevation gain is expected to be 1522 feet. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 4 h 15 min to complete. This route is exploratory for leader.

The trail offers outdoor enthusiasts fabulous views of Mount Hood on a clear day, and the Hood River Valley that skirts the edge of clear cut forest. Higher elevations closer to Underwood Mountain will almost always have snow in winter.

Parking: Expect we will require WA Discovery Pass to park and that there will be no pay station at the trailhead.

Meeting place to carpool: Fishers Landing Transit Center in Vancouver, WA. Park down near the bus station/clock tower.
