The BCEP Gear night is scheduled by some BCEP team's to help get their students oriented to gear options. It will often take place at a local gear shop. It is an optional activity.

Activity Notes

Purchasing climbing gear can be a bit intimidating, especially when you have don't yet have training on the gear you are buying.  Gear night will help take some of the edge off.  Mountain Shop puts together discounted BCEP gear packages, and our assistants can help you out with making the appropriate selections and explain the pros and cons of the various equipment differences in-person.

Meeting time TBD, but most likely 5pm since they close at 6pm.  We'll grab a beer afterwards at Paydirt two blocks away.

Don't panic if you cannot make this event, your attendance isn't required.  We will send out a detailed gear list and places to purchase in a separate document.
