Activity Notes
Greetings Hikers! We will be starting at the Catharine Creek Trailhead, and hiking east to west on this loop. The weather at the trail head will be a chilly 36* with a 40 % chance of rain during the day. There is the possibility that it may snow over night in the gorge and if this makes driving hazardous to reach the trail head, the hike will be cancelled. Pleases check your email Thursday night and Friday morning for the latest update. Obviously be over prepared for potentially harsh conditions. This hike has several variations that could potentially shorten it if conditions are unsafe. I advise boots, gaiters, micro spikes and rain pants and shell. Having dry cloths to change into at the car might also be wise. The hike should take 5-6 hours getting us back at the car between 3-4, and back to the MMC by 5:00-5:30 I look forward to sharing the day with you!
