Activity Notes

Step into a winter wonderland on this snowshoe hike with She, They Us! She, They, Us is an inclusive and welcoming community of women, genderqueer, and gender non-conforming folx interested in the outdoors.

Starting from the Tamanawas Falls trailhead, we'll snowshoe to the falls and back. Total distance out & back is 3.5 miles with about 580 feet in elevation gain. This is a great beginner snowshoe trail if snowshoeing is a new-to-you activity!

Please bring your own snowshoes or rent a pair for this event. If you're not sure where to rent snowshoes, reach out to me and I could point you in a few directions. I also ask that you bring trekking poles and microspikes (or another similar traction device) because winter weather can be unpredictable & it's best to be prepared for all situations.

We'll meet at the MMC at 7:30am for carpools & leave by 7:45am. We should arrive at the trailhead around 9:15am.
