Activity Notes
Nestled within the majestic Mt. Hood National Forest, the hike to Ponderosa Point offers the perfect combo for a fall outing - it has it all: fall colors, larches, and apple picking! Our trail will take us on a 6.2 mile and 1300 ft elevation hike. We'll weave through the forest until we reach our beautiful viewpoint of Mt. Hood! Hopefully there will be plentiful fall colors and perhaps we'll catch some larch views. After the hike, anyone who is interested will make our way to one of the orchards down in the Fruit Loop and enjoy some apple picking/falltivities before heading back to Portland! Adventurous Young Mazamas (AYM) offers activities targeted to those in their 20s, 30s, and anyone young at heart. All activities are open everyone, regardless of age.Canceled
