Activity Notes

The route will be 6.6 miles round trip and 2388 ft gain.  Meet at MMC (Mazama Mountaineering Center: 527 SE 43rd Ave, Portland) at 7:30a or at the Wahkeena Falls Parking lot at 8:10a   We will likely return to the trailhead by 2:00p and MMC by 3:00p. We will start at Wahkeena Falls parking lot and hike along Wahkeena Creek passing multiple falls.  Then we will ascend up to the ridge to Devil's Rest for a view.  Hope to see fall colors along the way. https://www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/oregon/wahkena-trail-loop-to-devils-rest?mobileMap=false&ref=sidebar-static-map Bring Water, snack/lunch, camera, poles (optional) and warm and rain gear (always important for the Gorge in the fall)
