The Mazamas have a long history of trail tending in the Pacific Northwest.


Tasks at these activities will often include cutting logs, trimming brush, and clearing drain dips. No experience necessary, but certifications such as crosscut saw training are very helpful!

Activity Notes

TBD location in the Gorge, likely seasonal maintenance on the Horsetail Creek trail. Mazama provides the muscle power  as we work with TKO to open up Oregon-side Gorge trails closed since the Eagle Creek fire. We will meet at the MMC at 7:30 AM, carpool to the trailhead, and return by 4:30 PM.
