Ingalls Peak, South Face

Activity Notes

This is an overnight trip. Meet at the trailhead at noon on Friday and hike in to Headlight Basin and camp. The next morning we'll get an early start to approach and climb the 4 pitch (5.4-5.6) route on the south face of Ingalls Peak.   We will have a group of 6 climbers. Two teams of three. Each team will have a lead climber(Jen and Justin), a lead belayer, and a middle climber. The lead belayer should have some recent outdoor lead belaying experience, and be comfortable cleaning trad gear( ICS level). The middle climber should have BCEP level skills and be comfortable ascending 5th class rock, and rappelling. If you are an AR grad and would like to lead one of the teams, we can discuss that possibility too!
