Activity Notes

Come join AYM for a hike up to the beautiful Ramona Falls and celebrate the anniversary of my provisional hike. I choose Ramona Falls as my provisional last year because it is a fantastic hike with not much elevation gain. This hike will be slightly different, we will make a loop out of the Timberline Trail and PCT. We should hike about 10 miles, there might be a bit more elevation gain than the traditional Ramona Falls hike. This route does not require the stream crossing and will start at the Top Spur Trailhead off Forest Road 1828. As always, please bring 10 essentials, water snacks and good hiking shoes. Starting point will be the Gateway Transit Center at 8AM or the Top Spur Trailhead for a 9:30 departure. There is a bathroom at the trailhead. Please plan on carpooling if possible as there is likely not much parking at the trailhead. As with all of my hikes there will probably be an option for post hike food and beverages.
