Activity Notes

18.5 miles 4100 elevation gain. This will be a fun fast-paced hike through the Northern blast zone area of Mount St. Helens. Wildflower should just be coming out. We're covering a lot of ground so we'll be moving at a faster pace. We'll plan to start at the hummocks trailhead and make our way up to Coldwater peak are beautiful views of the Mount Margaret back country. There will be lots of opportunity to stop for pictures, identifying flowers, and nerding out over volcano facts.
