Classic mixed snow and rock route. If the weather cooperates it has some of the best views of Rainier. Great mix of skills on this one! I plan to keep the team relatively small. Skills: We will do a short section of steep snow requiring Ice Axe and crampons. We will do a short section of alpine rock climbing and then a rappel. Expect about 4.6 mi round trip with about 2,600' vertical. The road to the trailhead is not yet open, but is *estimated* to open 5/24 FEE / COST / FYI : there is an additional fee to enter the park, payable per car.
