Pinnacle Peak, East Ridge

Activity Notes

Pinnacle Peak is in the Tatoosh Range, and is reached by a short approach from Reflection Lakes. This time of year, the approach will be on snow, and we will gain a saddle on the east side of the peak. From the saddle, it is a two or three pitch 5.6 rock climb up the ridge with a short airy catwalk section. Magnificent views of Mount Rainier, a fun rappel down the south side and an exposed snow traverse will lead us back to the saddle. We will try to glissade on the descent as much as possible.
