Activity Notes

Depending on the needs of the hikers, we will carpool from the MMC (departing by 7:15am) and/or Target at NW 185th Ave in Hillsboro (7:45am departure). Or you can meet us at the trailhead at 8:30. The Elk Mountain trail is notably steep, rising 2000 ft over about a mile and a half. It has a number of short rocky scrambles that will likely require using hands for balance.
