Activity Notes

Please join me for what I hope will be a beautiful day hike in the start of the wildflower season. If the weather is good we will have great views of the gorge. Regardless there should be lots of flowers.

We will do this hike from the Coyote Wall TH. We will depart from Portland early to get to the TH on time to secure parking. Car pooling is strongly encouraged as parking is extremely limited, especially in the spring. For this reason I am not accepting participants who wish to meet at the TH.

Please keep in mind that the time listed for the rendezvous time is the departure time. Please arrive early to get oriented and to arrange car pools.

This hike is 11 miles and over 2600' in gain with several large gains and losses in elevation. Please be prepared for a long day and bring layers, water and food. Wind is a likely factor even if the sun is out.
