Activity Notes

This out and back hike begins at Deschutes River State Park and follows an old railroad right of way along the east bank of the river. The trail passes through sagebrush rangeland and beneath basalt cliffs and offers expansive views of the lower Deschutes River canyon.  11 miles, 300 ft elevation gain, 180 drive miles. Meet at the MMC at 8:00 AM.
