Team of 4-6.

This climb will be focused on mentorship, leadership development, providing opportunities for those who have demonstrated volunteerism for the Mazamas or comparable volunteer outdoor organization. It will largely be an experiential learning opportunity to develop critical decision making skills regarding, navigation, risk mitigation and protection, group management, and communication.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Ice Climbing experience with the ability to top rope WI-3 (two tools)
Crevasse Rescue, and Glacial Travel Skills
Solid crampon skills
Multi-pitch climbing experience
Good physical fitness with the ability to climb for 10+ hours with only minimal, short rest breaks.
