Activity Notes

Enjoy an afternoon in the Columbia River Gorge with a waterfall and magnificent overview of the Columbia River.  Short but rewarding hike.   You can meet at MMC (Mazama Mountaineering Center) parking lot 527 SE 43rd Ave, Portland at 12:20 pm  or at the Angel's Rest Trailhead (Bridal Veil exit 28) at  1:00pm. Bring a snack, water, rain gear (in case), warm jacket (it is winter), solid hiking shoes/boots and a camera.  Some enjoy hiking poles for an upper body workout/balance. There is no restroom at the trailhead but Troutdale is not far away.
