Milo McIver State Park (views of river, mountains, forest)

Activity Notes

We will meet at McIver State park at 1pm. Drive to the Lower boat ramp. We will be hiking to the McIver Memorial Viewpoint and back. As you enter the park you will turn left at the first stop sign to Lower boat ramp. The Disc Golf course is along this area. For more information and map of the park:

We will hike 6-7miles round trip with a variety of steep and flat trails. The trails are well maintained but could be muddy if there has been rain or is raining. Walking sticks are helpful but not necessary. Please bring a snack to enjoy at view point. (If it is clear you can see Hood, Washington, Helen's and Adams plus the Clackamas River)

We should be done by 6:00pm

You will need a $5 day-use parking pass or a state park pass. (Day use may be purchased at gate)
