Activity Notes
This is a beginner friendly snowshoe, and we will take an easy pace. Starting from Barlow Sno Park, we will hike south on the PCT for approximately 2 miles before heading east on the Twin Lakes Trail. After reaching the lake, we can stop for snacks and pictures before continuing on our loop. From here we travel north, and can decide to hike up to Palmateer Point if the group is feeling strong. (If visibility is good, this is a great picture stop!) We continue traveling north until we reconnect with the PCT and make our way back to the trailhead. Original Plan: June Lake -Due to conditions on the trail to June Lake, this snowshoe has been redirected to Twin Lakes in the Mt Hood National Forest.
