Along the Wilson river and then climbing away from the river before descending back to the Wilson. Start at Jones Creek trailhead. Finish hike at Keenig Creek trailhead which is 4.5 miles further down Highway 6.

Activity Notes

We will meet at Elmonica Max Station parking on NW 170th Ave at 6:50AM on Dec 31st 2023. Please dress in layers carry 3 liters of water and lot of food. HEAD LAMP and hiking pole is a must. This is a time based hike. Hope to reach our target of 12 miles one way. before 1PM
1. We start at Elk Creek Trail Head hike for 5 hours. Stop have our lunch
2. Walk back the same way back to Elk Creek Trail head
Depending on the weather, trail and hikers condition we might turn back earlier too.
