Activity Notes

We'll hike up to Devil's Rest and stop at Angel's Rest on the way down for our third Conditioning Hike. The hike is about 9 miles long and we'll have a net gain of 2,000'. Actual gain/loss will be greater. The hike will take about 8 hours, accounting for breaks and technical skills practice. We should be back to the cars around 4:00pm. From there we will drive to Maryhill State Park for our potluck/overnight before Sunday's Horsethief Butte Session. Directions to Trailhead - Take I-84 East to Exit 28 (Bridal Veil Rd.). Turn right at .4 miles into the Angel's Rest Parking Lot. Please arrive at the trailhead so that you can be ready to begin the hike at 8:00am.
