Activity Notes

Meet at MMC Enjoy Multinamah Falls, then hike above it along Multnomah creek to the highest point in the West part of the Gorge, a lookout tower on Larch Mt.   We'll get a good workout while being in the cool trees near water for most of the hike.  We will return to Multnomah Lodge where we will take a quick stop to get refreshments or gifts. Meet at MMC early enough to leave in a carpool at 6:25 am or 7:00 am in front of the gift shop at Multinomah Falls.  We will likely get back to MMC before 6 pm. Bring: Hat, sunglasses, sun protection, lunch, snacks, 1.5-2.5 liters of water, water filter (optional), hiking shoes or light boots, hiking poles (optional), camera or phone.
