The new, more southern approach to Neahkahnie Mountain features berry-filled miles of the Oregon Coast Trail that haven't yet found popularity. The trail gets crowded after passing the official south trailhead 2/3 of the way toward the dramatic high point above the Pacific coast.
Activity Notes
Hike a new-ish section of the Oregon Coast Trail, from US 101 in Manzanita to the south approach to Neahkahnie Mountain. Possible delicious berries on the new trail. Great view of the Oregon coast from the mountaintop. Please only sign up if you've hiked Neahkahnie before or if the rock scramble at the top doesn't scare you.| Other Information | |
