Ski mountaineering/split boarding climb through the south side, with an ultralight bivy high on the mountain.  Descent by the SW chutes Applicants must have backcountry skiing experience Gear: Beacon, shovel, probe Ultralight bivy gear  Ax, crampons, ski crampons Skis/splitboard with skins Ten essentials Recent trip reports have suggested that it is possible to drive upto 4500 feet.
