Mazamas — For the Love of Mountains
This is an B level Mazama Hike that occurs in a wilderness area. B level hikes are moderate or more challenging hikes with either less than 15 miles in distance with between 1,500 and 3,000 feet elevation gain or between 8 and 15 miles in distance with less than 1,500 feet of elevation gain.

Welcome to the Menagerie Wilderness where the rock pinnacles are named for their shapes
such as Chicken Rock, Rooster Rock, and Turkey Monster, to name a few.
Our hike is 6,6 miles through mostly dense forest with an elevation gain of 2300 feet.
Enjoy views at the top as far as North and Middle Sisters.
Drive 235 miles round trip.
