March 29 Update:  Moved back to ZOOM.  Weather topic is helpful to have internet access and a projector.  MMC does not have a projector available, and we also want everyone to be healthy for Horse Thief rock field session.

March 22 Update:  Moved from ZOOM to MMC Basement

Basecamp Learning Modules covered this week:

  • Mountain Weather
  • Avalanche Awareness (follow-on to snow field session)
  •  Intro to ABD/GriGri (already covered in Week 3 breakout, but will continue discussion in case any student wants to practice at HorseThief)
