Activity Notes

Let's spend the day enjoying Ecola State Park hiking a lollipop loop from Ecola Point to Tillamook Head Hiker's Camp. It's the perfect hike for the winter to enjoy old growth forest and ocean views, including spotting "Terrible Tilly" from the trail.

We will meet at Ecola Point Day Use Area at 9:00 AM. You can use an OR State Park Pass or pay the day fee (~$5)

This hike is featured in Matt Reeder's PDX Hiking 365 will be around 6 miles roundtrip with 1200 feet of elevation gain (https://stateparks.oregon.gov/index.cfm?do=main.loadFile&load=_siteFiles%2Fpublications%2F%2F49141_Ecola_14x8.5_20_final043637.pdf).
