Forest Park Hike

Activity Notes

This will be an easy A level hike in Forest Park with a pace of 2-2.5mph.

Length: 6.0 miles (roundtrip loop)

Elevation Gain: 900 ft

Time: Around 2.5-3 hours depending on breaks

Trailhead: We will start and end at the trailhead gate where NW Thurman Road ends & becomes NW Leif Erickson Drive.

Route: We will start on Leif Erickson, then head uphill on Wild Cherry Trail to the Dogwood Trail, then head north on Wildwood Trail to the Alder Trail, then take Alder Trail back down to Leif Erickson before connecting back onto the Dogwood Trail, then take the Wildwood Trail south back to Wild Cherry Trail, and return to the trailhead via Leif Erickson.

It will probably be wet & muddy, so please plan accordingly for footwear and rain gear.
