This peak is in the Monte Cristo area, a popular climb destination and historic mining area. The route to Weden Lake requires cross country travel, leaving the Weden Lake Trail #724 at about 4,000 feet and traversing a steep slope for approximately one mile. Getting through the undergrowth and vegetation on loose rock is slow and difficult.
