This course will teach relevant trad gear/anchors for classic small team trad climbing scenarios. This course will be an intensive two days 100% infield experiential learning course about:

  • traditional climbing gear (e.g. cams, nuts & hexes, tri-cams)
  • gear placement
  • gear inspection and rock inspection
  • gear cleaning
  • piece extension
  • anchor rigging
  • natural pro-- how to select, and how to use
  • NOTE: No lead climbing or lead belaying will be allowed
