After two years of service, Executive Director Rebekah Phillips has announced she will be stepping down, effective July 31, 2025.
Under Phillips' leadership, the Mazamas has grown stronger — strengthening relationships with volunteers and stakeholders, improving operations, expanding our professional staff, and helping shape our strategic direction. Her work has positioned the organization well for its next chapter.
We are deeply grateful for the impact Rebekah has made through her dedication to the Mazama community.

The Board of Directors has formed a transition team to manage interim planning, communication, and recruitment. During these exciting times, this page will serve as the organization’s communication source providing Mazama members, committee chairs, partners, and stakeholders with information and announcements as the search for new leadership progresses.
We are confident that continuity in member services, programming, and partner support will remain strong. Should any disruptions to our services occur, we promise to respond promptly to address issues as they arise. Questions, concerns, and comments can be directed to transition@mazamas.org.
