Activity Notes

We will tackle two iconic peaks located around the gorgeous Boston Basin of the North Cascades. This will involve stream crossings, glacier travel, low level rock climbing and rappelling. Participants should be fit, experienced and comfortable on with low-intermediate rock climbing (much of the rock travel un-roped) and glacier travel.

We will camp in Boston Basin and spend two long days of scrambling and low 5th class climbing, first tackling Sahale Peak (4th/5th rock) via the Quien Sabe glacier, and on the second day turn our attention Shark Fin Tower's Southeast Ridge route (5.0 rock). We will likely stay one more night and return to our cars on Aug 26th.
