Activity Notes

This is an exploratory climb for the leader, and it will be a small team.

Meet at the Cutthroat Pass trailhead early and hike 10 miles with 2800 feet gain up to a campsite at Snowy Lake, below the saddle that separates the two peaks. We'll set up camp, climb Golden Horn (1/2 mile and 1500 ft eg) , and return to camp. In the morning, we'll climb Tower Mountain( 1mile, 1500 ft), return to camp, break it down and head out. Option to stay a second night if we are tired.

This climb involves back country camping, off trail scrambling through scree, route finding, low fifth class climbing, and rappelling.
