Activity Notes

Springtime is a great time to hike along the edge of the Deschutes River. The Mecca Flats/Trout Creek Trail is a 6 mile walk-through (i.e., one-way) hike in the canyon of the Deschutes between Warmsprings and the Trout Creek confluence with the Deschutes. We will hike 8-10 miles (round-trip). Weather should be warm and dry this time of year, but could still be vulnerable to spring showers, so watch the weather forecast and dress/carry gear accordingly.
