ACTIVITY NOTES

This Adult CPR & AED course through The American Heart Association (AHA) is a blend of online course work, and then CPR practice/skills test in-person at the Mazamas Mountaineering Center (MMC). For more information, go to the CPR website page.

Once the registration period for this course closes, you will be notified if you are accepted or not. If accepted, you will receive a unique link via email from elearning.heart.org, subject: AHA Course Assignment, to access online course material that MUST be completed prior to your in-person session at the MMC. You must print a completion certificate for the online material and bring it with you to the in-person session to participate. Without the online certificate you will not be able to participate or receive the AHA card. A vaccine badge is required for this course. A mask (buff's are not acceptable coverings) is required to be worn for the duration of this course.

If you are an active Mazamas climb, hike, or canyoneering leader, please contact your Mazamas committee chair after you complete this course for course reimbursement. You will need your course completion certificate to be eligible.  Mazamas committee chairs determine reimbursement eligibility.  For questions on reimbursement eligibility, contact your Mazamas committee chair.
