Cutthroat Peak is located about two miles west of Washington Pass (north from the road) in Washington's North Cascades. It's close to the road, and offers a nice easy acess alpine rock trip with sections of exposed 3rd and 4th class with a pitch or two of mid 5th class at the summit.

Activity Notes

We will leave from the MMC on the 28th at 10am and go directly to Lone Fir Campground (first come first served). On Friday we will start from the campground at 5am and drive west of WA pass to begin the walk in. We climb Cutthroat Peak South Buttress (5.8 12 pitches). We return to camp the same night. The next day we break camp and go back to WA pass and climb Kangaroo Temple North Face (5.6 4 pitches). Drive home that night (30th).
