Activity Notes

This is a popular loop and is great for  waterfalls, which should be at their peak. There are six officially named falls on this trip as well as countless cascades and intermittent falls. As this is midweek and we are starting early,  hopefully not too crowded.  5 miles with 1600 feet gain, about 4 hours hiking time. Trekking poles and good footwear useful.

Meet us at the MMC at 8AM and carpool to the Wakeena trailhead. Drive time about 30 minutes and 28 miles each way.
