Wahkeena Multnomah Creeks Loop (Sunset hike)

A popular gorge hike with tons of waterfalls. Come out on a weeknight and avoid the crowds! Park at Multnomah Falls (no parking pass required) and meet in front of Multnomah Falls Lodge at 5pm. We?ll hike the loop counter-clockwise, up Wahkeena and down Multnomah. Sunset is at 7:46pm - headlamp required! If the weather cooperates, we?ll see the sunset from the top of Multnomah Falls. Depending on group speed we should be back to the cars by 8-8:30. I like to maintain a good conditioning pace, but with plenty of brief picture-taking stops.
