Snowshoe up White River Canyon

Activity Notes

Come along for an evening snowshoe near Mt Hood. 5.5 miles RT, 800 ft. Drive 180. Required: Snowshoes and headlamp.

  • Reaching the trailhead will require a suitable vehicle, traction and Sno-Park permit for winter conditions, or carpool.
  • As an alpine winter hike, be ready for subzero temps and high wind.
  • For heavy precip, trip will be called off or relocated.

Note: This trip will be on Monday (MLK day) or Sunday, whichever has clearer weather.
