Activity Notes

This hike will start at Timberline lodge and head west on the timberline trail. Cross ZigZag canyon, then head up to paradise park past the old shelter and into the park itself. We will have lunch there, then continue west a bit and reconnect with the timberline trail and return to the lodge.

12 miles and 2100 feet gain. About 6 hours hiking time. Trekking poles advised. There may be snow patches and we need to cross Zigzag creek - which could be a little tricky. As this is fairly early in the summer, we may have to adapt to the conditions we find.
