Crabtree Lake is a cirque lake and headwaters of Crabtree Creek. It is located in the middle Santiam drainage area, and boasts one of the finest old growth timber stands still remaining in the Cascades foothills of Oregon. These trees next to a small alpine lake are breathtaking and of such an ancient condition they will leave a mark on your memory and conscience unlike any other.
