Mount Buckindy is located at the head of Kindy Creek in the northern Washington Cascades. Glaciers are present on the mountain's north and east flanks. The standard summit route is a Class 4 scramble via the north slopes. The southwest ridge contains a series of jagged pinnacles (Buckindy Crags) that offer some Class 5 routes.

Relevant Maps I printed out a 1:24000 map of the area at GI Joe’s. $7.95 on waterproof paper with UTM markings and nice shading. Use NAD 27 datum, 1:24000 and UTM coordinates. Configure it so that its portrait format on the paper and goes from south of Green Mt. to north of Mt. Buckindy. The USGS 7.5 quads of the area would work well also. Google map
