The BCEP Navigation is typically an in the field practice sessions for navigation skills learned during a BCEP lecture. This session may be held at Mt. Tabor or another location. See individual class session for location.

So you wanna be a pro at not getting lost?  I'll let you in on a little secret...we all get lost from time to time.  The trick is finding yourself again with reasonable accuracy.  We'll build your confidence in the savvy ways of finding yourself on a map using your compass, surroundings, and taking bearings.  This can save your life, especially in a whiteout.

 

Bring yo compass, obviously.
