Mud Creek Ski Loop (skijoring, exploratory)

Activity Notes

Skijoring is cross-country skiing with your dog!  This is NOT a suitable outing for first-time skijoring.

Intermediate to advanced cross-country skills recommended.  Dogs who have skijored before are welcome!

This is a 10.5 mile loop over easy terrain, ranging between 3500-4000 feet.  Expect a moderately speedy pace (~3 mph) and minimal breaks.  The first 1.4 miles and last 1.8 miles are on the well-trafficked Trillium Lake Loop.  Exploratory - I have not skied the middle 7.3 miles on FS 2656 aka Mud Creek Ridge Road before.
