Activity Notes

Since most hikers with dogs have their own vehicles, we will start at the Trailhead.  The hike will start at the Round Lake parking lot on NE 35th in Camas.  We will go around Round Lake and follow the trail down to the Lacamas Creek trail.  We will follow the Lacamas Creek trail down to 3rd Ave and then use the sidewalk to get down to the Washougal River Greenway.  Lunch will be on the picnic table or the small amphitheater next to it.We will return up the Greenway, up the Lacamas Creek trail and then come back on one of the Lacamas Park trails.  Most of the trails are wide and easy for hikers and dog walkers.  Well behaved dogs are welcome on this hike, but you don't need a dog to attend.  Distance is 7.6 miles. Pace will be about 2 mph.  Elevation is only about 400ft.  I anticipate returning to the trailhead between 2-3:00PM.  If you need a ride, call me and we might be able to arrange carpooling.
